Queen Anne Ave gets a Trader Joe's, South Lake Union gets a Lambrusco festival, and Kent gets a new mug club.

The website Fine Cooking takes an extensive look around Tom Douglas’s kitchen, custom-designed for both cheffing and entertaining. The restaurateur and wife Jackie Cross regularly host friends and auction winners at their large picnic-style table.

KENT

Airways Brewing Company is launching a Mile High Mug Club. The first 50 people who sign up at the brewery's taproom on Saturday, September 8 at 3 will be inducted to the exclusive and gainful rewards program, which includes swag, events, and the titular personalized mug. Plus your first pour as a member just costs $1. Airways is marking the occasion with a special version of its Sky Hag IPA, infused with bourbon-soaked oak chips, and pouring for one day only.

QUEEN ANNE
Trader Joe’s will be packing up its frozen mahi mahi and dried fruit for a big move around the corner. The store's new location? Metropolitan Market’s former Queen Anne Ave location. Queen Anne View reports that the TJ’s on Galer Street will move into its new 15,000-square-foot space by the end of 2014. 

MADISON VALLEY
Fresh off his stint on Top Chef Masters, behatted chef Thierry Rautureau will be opening Rover's kitchen for a new reality cooking series, Kitchen Circus. This four-episode online series is only accepting amateur cooks who will be challenged to prepare one dish for a three-course meal at the restaurant, serving a hungry group of 45 gourmet dingers, doubling as judges. Audition tapes are due by September 21.

SOUTH LAKE UNION
Need even more proof that Seattle is warming up to Lambrusco? Cuoco is holding a Festa del Lambrusco in its courtyard on Friday, August 31. Those partial to the red, sparkling wine can partake in antipasti and grilled lamb, courtesy of chef Stuart Lane and his Big Green Egg, along with assorted Lambruscos. All-inclusive tickets are $30.
