CAPITOL HILL
Li’l Woody’s Burgers and Shakes is adding new late night hours on weekends starting November 25 and 26. The Pine Street joint will be open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. Li’l Woody’s joins a long list, curated by Chris Werner, of other Capitol Hill restaurants offering late-night meals.

DOWNTOWN
Our own Allecia Vermillion reports on a temporary Trophy Cupcakes location in Pacific Place. For the holiday season, November 14–December 31, the cupcake and party supply shop will be selling its wares out of a third-floor storefront.

The Apple Cup rivalry runneth over, into the world of cocktails. Boka Kitchen and Bar will be offering two special cocktails, the Husky and the Cougar, from Friday, November 25 to Sunday the 27th, and the cocktail that sells the most wins (note: does not affect actual game results). Cocktails are $7, and on game day from 11 to 1 you can drink yours with a free apple sticky bun.

Eater Seattle brings word of a book deal for the fish tossers at Pike Place. From publisher Viking Studio, it will be a guide to all things fish, including how to buy sustainably.

MADRONA
Molly Moon’s has (somewhat) comforting news to balance the winter closing of the Madrona location. Ice cream fiends who don’t want to drive to Capitol Hill can still get their fix every Sunday from 6 to 9 thanks to their ice cream truck on 34th.

SOUTH LAKE UNION
Dahlia Workshop’s customers were so serious about biscuits, says rep Katie Okumura, that the Tom Douglas joint has rebranded as Serious Biscuit. It also matches upstairs neighbor and fellow Tom Douglas restaurant Serious Pie.

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
There’s a holiday for everything: This Thursday, November 10, is “International Chowder Day,” declared as such in 2005 by Mayor Nickels. After praying to the chowder gods or gathering around the chowder tree, head out to one—or all?—of Duke’s six locations for a free small bowl—or six—of clam chowder. Chowder is available until close if supplies last that long.
