This Friday is Columbia City Bakery’s sixth anniversary, and to commemorate the bake shop is donating sales to three charities selected by staffers, reports Voracious. Those include the Homeward Pet Adoption Center, Seward Park Audubon Center, and Equal Rights Washington.
Tom Colicchio isn’t the only Top Chef coming to town. On October 31, season four victor Stephanie Izard is signing her book Girl in the Kitchen at the Urbane Coffee Bar inside Hyatt at Olive 8. Seattle Restaurant Week commences on Sunday the 16th and runs until October 27. This time around, the twice-annual event features a record 153 restaurants in King County where diners can feast on three-course dinners for $28 or three-course lunches for $15 Sunday through Thursday.
