Oh Twitter, you really outdid yourself this week! All those jokes about how lame and small the East Coast earthquake was, reminding us just how well-endowed, geologically speaking, we are out here in the West. When we have an earthquake the earth really moves, if you know what we mean (and I think you do). Ain’t no need to ask each other if we felt it.

Of course, now they’re in for a super-intense hurricane called Irene—let’s just hope this new potential disaster passes by without much damage. Otherwise…awkward.
