Lara Hamilton, a one-time employee of the late Kim Ricketts at Kim Ricketts Book Events, is making one of her former boss’s dreams a reality with the Book Larder, a bookstore dedicated to all things culinary due to open this October.

A rep at Tom Douglas Restaurants gave Twitter a sneak peek inside the book shop—revealing the new "surf blue" walls—by posting this photo today.

The book larder has taken over the 4252 Fremont Ave N storefront that previously housed Hansen’s Florist. You can follow the shop’s progress on its Tumblr and Facebook pages.

A firm opening date is to be announced soon.
