Maple Leaf Life reports the Fine Diner on NE Northgate Way is now open Monday through Saturday 11–8. Owner Ron Chomcey plans to host a grand opening celebration in the coming weeks and introduce breakfast service within three months.

La Casa Azul, maker of excellent margaritas, is opening a new location in Wallingford at 1715 N 45th Street, reports Wallyhood.

WEST SEATTLE
According to West Seattle Blog, Mawadda Cafe has its sights set on the Admiral District and hopes to open another kitchen there in September.

Fresh Bistro has three whole-hog roasts coming up: July 26, August 9, and August 30. The feast ($16–$20) is all you can eat and features up to eight sides. Call 206-935-3733 to sign up; seating is limited to 40 people. The restaurant also is introducing a new Friday-and-Saturday menu available from 9pm–midnight. The rotating small plates might include charred octopus salad, pork belly banh mi sliders, or wagyu flank steak.

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
Trophy Cupcakes is rolling out a new flavor made with Hayton Farms strawberries from Skagit Valley. The cupcakes are available at the Wallingford, University Village, and Bravern locations through July.
