Public Health puts the kabosh on Palace Korean Grill and Deez Dogs

UPDATE: Palace Korean Grill has reopened! See comments for details.

Bellevue restaurant Palace Korean Grill (15932 NE 8th Street) was closed by Public Health yesterday.

The restaurant had more than ninety red critical points—a red critical violation corresponds to "the most serious risks of food borne illness," according to Seattle and King County Public Health procedural guidelines. Red critical points range from 5 to 30—the higher the number, the more serious the violation. So ninety is…not a great score.

In addition, Public Health reports, Palace Korean Grill had no hot water at its hand-washing sinks.

Also closed this weekend, Deez Dogs, which operated at the 300 block of 5th Avenue, reportedly without a valid food biz permit. I can’t find any records of this place. Anyone eaten there?
