Joule in Wallingford will once again host summer BBQs.

CAPITOL HILL
CHS and Eater report on cheapie sandwich shack Grubwich, opening in the erstwhile Pita Pit spot on Broadway.

DOWNTOWN
Boka, which recently welcomed a new pastry chef, Peter Serrano, late of the Grand Hyatt Seattle, is giving away free mac and cheese this Thursday. Stop by the restaurant on First Avenue from 11:30–1:30 for some cheesy goodness.

Pike Place Market’s The Crumpet Shop (finally!) reopens May 24 after five months of closure for earthquake retrofitting and repairs.

MAPLE LEAF
COA Tequileria is officially doing business, according to Eater. Stop in for some serious deals during happy hour.

PHINNEY RIDGE
Chris Navarra of Prost, Chris Gerke of Nickerson Street Saloon, and a few others are opening a pizza and sandwich joint called The Ridge. Expect it to open this summer at 7217 Greenwood Ave N, reports PhinneyWood blog.

ROOSEVELT
The Roosevelt Whole Foods is hosting an ice cream sundae party on May 24 from 6–8pm. The $25 cost includes ice cream and all the fixings.

WALLINGFORD
Joule has revealed the lineup for its popular Urban BBQ series. The first one, titled “Backyard. Burgers and dogs. Sundaes”, takes place June 5.
