Celebrate Christmas at a Seattle-area restaurant.

Art Restaurant, 11:30am–9pm
Snack your way through one of the six appetizers, such as smoked duck breast on brioche, flavorful prosciutto consommé paired with Beecher’s cheddar polenta, or spinach salad adorned with poached egg and wild mushrooms. The mains range from traditional turkey and roasted rib eye to grilled sturgeon, salmon, and a root vegetable cassoulet. But before filling up, check the dessert buffet for your favorite holiday sweets. $110/adult, $35/child; call for reservations.

Barking Frog, 4pm–9pm
The Willows Lodge offers a filling spread beginning with eight hors d’oeuvres—buttermilk-fried quail, popcorn lobster bites, and roasted beet salad, just to name a few. The seven entrees include ahi tuna seared in a kumquat butter sauce, braised Berkshire pork shank plated with a jalapeno-white cheddar polenta, scallops and sous vide pork belly, cioppino, and grilled sous vide lamb loin. Individual items $10–$46/person; call for reservations.

Brasserie Margaux, 4pm–9pm
The Warwick’s prix fixe dinner features cranberry- and marsala-glazed prime rib or roasted pheasant ballotine, served with a combo of baby carrots, beets, and white cheddar whipped potatoes, or squash souffle with wild rice, goat cheese, and green beans. Whichever entree you choose, the meal commences with a chicken liver amuse bouche and your choice of asparagus bisque or citrusy endive and arugula salad. Dark rum creme brulee or chocolate peppermint cake are your desserts. $65/adult, $25/child; call for reservations.

The Georgian, 11am–6pm
An extensive buffet at the Fairmont Olympic features fresh seafood, artisanal cheeses, European charcuterie, black truffle gnocchi, and oxtail braisage. Classics like maple glazed ham and beef tenderloin are also on the card, with a dessert buffet and two chocolate fountains to boot. $95/adult, $35/child; call for reservations.

Trellis, noon–8pm
This three–course meal kicks off with starter fare—salads, Dungeness crab bisque, a prosciutto plate complete with onion marmalade, dates, and arugula. Filet mignon, housemade gnocchi, roasted rack of lamb and pan–seared salmon are just a sampling of the seven mains, while a wide array of desserts—bûche de noel cake!—rounds out the meal. $59/adult, $24/child; call for reservations.

Urbane, 5:30pm–10pm
At this four–course prix fixe meal, your choice of three entrees—cider–glazed grilled pork chop, herbed sea bass, and locally raised poussin—arrives individually, while side dishes, including sour cream mashed potatoes and roasted maple-glazed carrots, are served family style. A mini trio of apple crumble, pumpkin custard, and ice cream sundae make for a sweet finish. $40/adult; call for reservations.
