Inhale away

Not since the city’s smoking ban put an end to cigar smoking in the dim-lit corners of El Gaucho have cigar-loving Seattleites been able to savor the joys of a bloody steak, a fine Cabernet, an aged single-malt…and a flaming stogie.

Enter the dining room at Snoqualmie Casino, Terra Vista , which this Thursday debuts its Steak & Cigar Nights, to be held Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in its Cigar Lounge, Lit.

For $75 any cigar lover will get a 14-ounce Delmonico steak paired with a Northwest red (personally selected by Terra Vista sommelier Jon Sheard), followed by an after-dinner Scotch, Cognac or Port and a cigar selected by Lit’s cigar manager, Josh Weltmer.

Anyone who is now thinking, “I wonder how a person gets into cigar management?”—this one’s for you.
