Tom Douglas’ Fourth Annual Ultimate Holiday Cookbook Social

Buy this book
This Wednesday night, chef and restaurateur Tom Douglas hosts his annual cookbook social, which gathers 21 local chefs and cookbook authors—and their books—into one room. The Palace Ballroom, that is.
Come between 4pm and 7pm, pay $22, and enjoy a glass of Columbia Crest wine along with tastes from the authors’ favorite recipes. A cash bar extends the joy.
Who will be there? So glad you asked. Our faves include Keith Robbins, the proprietor of Tini Bigs Lounge and author of Tini Bigs Big Martinis; Matthew Amster-Burton, local food luminary who wrote Hungry Monkey: A Food-Loving Father’s Quest to Raise an Adventurous Eater; the great Fran Bigelow, she of Fran’s Chocolates and Pure Chocolate: Divine Desserts and Sweets from the Creator of Fran’s Chocolates; Leslie Mackie, of Macrina Bakery and Macrina Bakery and Cafe Cookbook; and, of course, The Divine Ms. Kat Flinn, the charming Seattle food writer whose The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry chronicling her year at Le Cordon Bleu cooking school is about to be made into a movie.
Come buy some books and get ’em signed. Maybe Kat will even do it with that sharp knife of hers.
