Chewing for Charity

Third Floor Fish Cafe Feeds the Hungry…

…especially on Sunday nights

By Kathryn Robinson September 23, 2009

In celebration of its 15th anniversary, Third Floor Fish Cafe in Kirkland is giving back to the community in a novel way.

Dine there Sunday nights and 15 percent of the gross sale of your meal will go to that month’s charity of choice. In October it’ll be Food Lifeline.

They’ll share this way for 15 months, a different charity every month. Here’s the list: November 2009, Operation Smile;
December, Solid Ground; January 2010, Forest Ridge; February, Junior League of Seattle; March, Boys & Girls Club of Kirkland; April, Assistance League of the Eastside; May, Lenny Wilkens Foundation; June, Seattle Children’s Home; July, Seattle Children’s Hospital; August, Moyer Foundation; September, Friends of Youth; October, Holy Family School in Kirkland; November, New Futures; and December, Sacred Heart School.

Sounds like a win-win Sunday night to us.
