Bravo Boat Street!
And now, the first in an occasional series we’re calling Wait Watchers, where we’ll give a shout-out to servers both lame and game…whenever we can, by name.
Today’s applause goes to Lauretta at Boat Street Kitchen, whose warm smile and efficient to-go service made our whole lunch the other day. (The lunch consisted of a serving of Amaretto Bread Pudding. So The Tablehopper had a craving. Lauretta thoughtfully asked if I wanted it warmed or wanted to warm it myself at home. Meaningful gesture.)
Boat Street’s got to be one of The Tablehopper’s top five Seattle restaurants, but jeesh, the service is variable. Lauretta’s was pure gold. Thank you, Lauretta.
