The Parlor Collection
That old saw about the best night spot in Bellevue being Seattle won’t fly anymore. Meet the the Parlor Collection—the swank pool hall on the third floor of Lincoln Square that’s packing ’em in and racking ’em up—the likes of which the Eastside’s never seen before. Every Friday and Saturday night the sleek 20,000-square-foot hall fills up thick as Belltown with the young party set. And why? There’s the late-night draw (it’s the only Bellevue place with a full-service menu till 2am), the epicentral location, the fruity martinis, the menu of upscale burgers and pub eats, and that magnanimous boon unheard of in the big city—free parking. But mostly there’s a whole mess of that business that brought so much trouble to River City: 43 billiards tables lit with custom shadowless lights, peopled with players who at $16 an hour on Fridays and Saturdays ($8 during the day) are serious about their Game with a capital G, and that rhymes with P, and that stands for pool.
