Guy Fieri Was at Super Bowl XLVIII and Rooted Against the Seahawks

This guy is just the worst.

Food Network “star” and sentient goatee Guy Fieri just gave Rolling Stone an interview that’s ostensibly about Thanksgiving but quickly turns to football, as conversations with bros are wont to do. And after RS writer Kenneth Arthur reveals that he’s a Seahawks fan, the host of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives manages to not only flaunt that he was at Super Bowl XLVIII, but also that he rooted against the Hawks. The offending passage:

“I tell you, bro, I was there at the game and it was about the most amazing thing in the world. I'm a big Peyton Manning fan, I think Manning is amazing, and to watch what went down, it was just mind-blowing. I couldn't believe what was actually taking place.”

You couldn't believe that the best defense in the NFL could manhandle ole Peyton Fivehead Manning? What? The frosted flake does mention that he’s been to a Sounders game, but then he goes on to throw shade by saying the match he saw in Italy was hella better.

Guy Fieri is just the worst.
