Fitz and the Tantrums

The Love Markets

Every few weeks, Sierra Stinson slides her furniture to the side and invites 50 or so strangers into her Capitol Hill apartment for a one-night gallery opening—more performance than exhibit—she calls Vignettes. For her latest event, Stinson shows new work by Seattle photographer Adam Smith, whose carefully composed images have also appeared in Seattle Met. El Capitan Apartments.

The Seattle Sounders shocked the soccer world last week by acquiring United States Men's National Team captain Clint Dempsey from English club Tottenham Hotspur. The star midfielder signed a three-year deal to play for the Sounders, so Seattle footie fans will have plenty of chances to see the brilliance he displays on the pitch. He's expected to see his first action on the road versus Toronto FC. KONG.
