Fitz and the Tantrums
A neosoul act by way of Los Angeles hipster haven Silver Lake, Fitz and the Tantrums plays the kind of high-energy, horn-heavy concerts that get us dancing any night of the week. The band’s sophomore album, More Than Just a Dream, is more pop than Motown—the product of a bigger budget and a new label—but the live show never falters. Showbox SoDo, $27–$30.

The Love Markets

The Seattle Sounders shocked the soccer world last week by acquiring United States Men's National Team captain Clint Dempsey from English club Tottenham Hotspur. The star midfielder signed a three-year deal to play for the Sounders, so Seattle footie fans will have plenty of chances to see the brilliance he displays on the pitch.
