TONIGHT: Minus the Bear Plays the Patio of Little Water Cantina

Summer can’t really be over—those clouds will be gone by 4, right? Right? It appears Little Water Cantina has thrown in the towel and will host a party tonight to celebrate the end of the season—with Seattle alt-rockers Minus the Bear playing a live set on the patio. That’s kind of a big deal, considering the band has been busy in the past year opening for Soundgarden, rocking the festival circuit, and planning a 10-year anniversary tour.

The Eastlake restaurant (with a killer view of Lake Union) reports that “the party starts at 6:30 and will involve all-night taco specials and Mount Gay Mai Tais and daiquiris. All are welcome to attend.”

Minus the Bear goes on at 6:30; expect them to play for about an hour. Then, bring on the Mai Tais.

Little Water Cantina (2865 Eastlake Ave E) hosts an end-of-summer party Tuesday, Sept 13, from 6:30-8:30.
