Kanye West, Jay-Z Show in Tacoma Canceled [UPDATED: Rescheduled]

We didn’t make the cut.

No love from Jay-Z and Kanye.

From the Seattle Times via Pitchfork.com:
Kanye West and Jay-Z have rerouted their "Watch the Throne" tour this fall, and the October 13 show at the Tacoma Dome didn’t make the cut. They’ve opted for West Coast stops in Vancouver (Dec 18), Los Angeles (Dec 12), Las Vegas (Dec 9), and the oh-so-glamorous San Jose, Calif. (Dec 10) instead. The presale started yesterday, and regular tickets go on sale August 8, the day their new album Watch the Throne drops.

And if you haven’t heard, the Kings of Leon concert scheduled for Monday, September 12, at KeyArena, has also been canceled, along with their entire U.S. tour. Lead singer Caleb Followill is "suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion." Or irrelevance. Regardless, the Kings resume their tour in Vancouver on September 28. Seattle tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.

UPDATED 4pm. Scratch that: The Tacoma Dome concert has been rescheduled for December 16. Tickets will be available at livenation.com and ticketmaster.com on August 8, and anyone who buys a ticket online gets a digital copy of the album.
