1. An actual victory, considering the Hawks dropped the opening punt return and failed to get a first down until, I don’t know, 23 MINUTES into the game. But they won! And kinda dominated. (Final score: Hawks: 31. 49ers: 6.)

2. Flash Mob Seattle taking the field at halftime—an impressive 500 people dancing to Queen and Michael Jackson. Event producer Egan Orion and choreographer Bobby Bonsey had hinted this was going to happen when I interviewed them for the Reasons to Love Seattle issue, but like most things I don’t write down, I pretty much forgot it once we hung up the phone. What a nice surprise, eh? I’ll post the official video once it’s up, but for now, enjoy this sideline view thanks to slem42.
