Carissa’s Wierd Reunites
Seattle’s favorite softcore band plays Showbox on Friday; tickets are still available.
Before there was Band of Horses and Grand Archives, before Sub Pop artist Sera Cahoone broke out on her own, there was late ’90s rockers Carissa’s Wierd —the granddaddy of them all. Sure to thrill its cult following, Seattle’s favorite softcore band reunites for one show only on Friday, July 9 at Showbox at the Market, in support of the aptly named compilation They’ll Only Miss You When You Leave: Songs 1996–2003.
The best part? As of this morning, tickets ($18-$20) were still available.
