Twilight Stars Show New Eclipse Clip in Seattle

And teenage girls overrun Fremont.

By Douglas Bair June 28, 2010

Pale was in vogue on Saturday night as Twilight vampires Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser, aka Rosalie and Esme Cullen, hit the red carpet for an outdoor screening of second film New Moon in Fremont, and to promote the third and latest installment, Eclipse, out in theaters Wednesday. Twimania has officially begun…again.

Allied Integrated Marketing brought the lovely lady vamps as part of the Fremont Outdoor Movie series, where a new scene from Eclipse was previewed for the lucky hundred or so who packed the parking lot with folding chairs and blankets. Fortunately for you, we’re Twihards and couldn’t resist asking the stars a couple quick questions. Namely, what’s in store for the Cullen clan in Act 3?

“There’s a little more depth and back story for all of us,” Reed said.

And any men dragged to see Eclipse should know that there’s the promise of vampire war and plenty of action. Reaser, who plays hero Edward’s (Robert Pattinson’s) loving vampire mom, even throws a few punches (she’s known to giggle prior to a fight scene).

“There is a lot of action, mostly with us kicking ass,” Reaser boasted. “It was really scary to be hitting and running around and acting all aggro. I just didn’t want to do it, so I would have laugh attacks. But it quickly turned to anger and violence, so it worked for me.”

And, dare we ask: Could Snooki have a part in the final installment, Breaking Dawn, after she and her Jersey Shore friends staged a fairly hilarious spoof of the girl-meets-ghoul tale on Jimmy Kimmel?

“We would welcome Snooki anywhere,” Reed said, wasting no time responding. “She could be a wolf.”
