Twentysomethings around the world collectively swooned when ’90s indie rock band Pavement announced a reunion tour this year after a decade-long break. Tickets to see them at Sasquatch! at the Gorge sold out in a hot second; couples started making out to their music again; even Chuck Klosterman paid tribute (albeit in the snarkiest way possible).
Pavement kicked everything off in New Zealand in March, but they head our way this fall, with a show at the Paramount Theatre on September 5. Tickets are $35 and go on sale this Saturday, 10am, at the Paramount box office, by calling 877-784-4849, or at Tickets.com.
Also on sale this Saturday at 10am:
Tickets to Chateau Ste. Michelle’s summer concerts via Ticketmaster.com; this year’s lineup includes Steve Martin with bluegrass band the Steep Canyon Rangers; Steve Miller Band; Lyle Lovett; Jamie Cullum; Martina McBride; Jackson Browne with David Lindley; Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band; Natalie Merchant; the B-52s and Blondie; the KWJZ Music Festival; Chris Isaak; Earth, Wind and Fire; Crowded House, Pink Martini, and Harry Connick Jr.
