Spring is here—I don’t care what the calendar says. The true sign is the sudden deluge of summer concert announcements flooding my inbox. It started with emails about Lady Gaga and Jack Johnson plotting their North American tours (and, of course, Iron Maiden playing White River Ampitheatre in June). Now we’ve learned that this year’s Grammy golden boys, Nashville rockers Kings of Leon, have announced a 31-date summer swing that includes a show at the Gorge on July 17. If you missed their headlining set at Sasquatch last year, consider this redemption. Tickets ($36-$50) go on sale Friday, March 19, at 10am on LiveNation.com.
UPDATED 7/14/10. Tickets for shockingly reasonable prices are available on StubHub (from $39-$154). Find them here.
