Pearl Jam Targets Seattle to begin its new tour.

In case you didn’t know, earlier this summer Pearl Jam hooked up with Target and Cameron Crowe, the former confirmed as its new retail partner and the latter as the director of a Target commercial (shot at the Showbox) and an in-the-works project acknowledging the band’s 20th anniversary. The band’s new album Backspacer comes out September 20, with Eddie and the guys beginning their tour here in town the next day.

American Idol fans rejoice: Daughtry plays a free concert Friday, July 17 and winner David Cook, whose album debut includes collaborations with Chris Cornell and Goo Goo Dolls frontman Johnny Rzeznik, plays Showbox Sodo in August.

Here’s the list of concert dates and when tickets go on sale for Pearl Jam, Cook and others (Arctic Monkeys!):

Moby at Showbox Sodo on October 18

Arctic Monkeys at Showbox at the Market on September 19

David Cook at Showbox SoDo on August 24

The English Beat at Showbox at the Market on October 3

Pearl Jam with special guest Ben Harper and Relentless7 at KeyArena on September 21 and 22
