Wicked, the Tony-winning musical about how it’s not easy being green in the land of Oz, is headed back, naturally, to the Emerald City (oh, to be a press rep with that easy hook on my hands).

But these things must be handled delicately, as some witch once said.

So wake up your sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed, and you’ll be rewarded: At 7am on Friday, May 15 at the Paramount Theatre (911 Pine St) tickets will be on sale exclusively at the box office for two hours before they starting flying liked winged monkeys into the hands of people using Ticketmaster online, phone, and outlets at 9am.

I never thought I’d say this, but I’m out of Oz references and metaphors (particularly since Stephen Schwartz’s show has nothing to do with the MGM classic). But, really, if you want tickets, be there at 7.
