Equal Rights Washington 10-Year Anniversary Celebration
A full decade has passed since Equal Rights Washington began its campaign to promote equality for the LGBT community, and what a decade it has been. ERW has helped same-sex couples gain the right to marry, helped pass the Healthy Youth Act, and made Washington state a beacon of tolerance for the rest of the nation to follow.
ERW staff and supporters will be sipping champagne and enjoying hors d'oeuvres in commemoration of their successes. Everyone has the right to do that once in a while.
Tickets are $20, and you can throw a donation in on top of that if you feel so inclined.
ERW 10 Year Anniversary Celebration, Tue, June 3, 5:30–7:30 pm, Bertha Knight Landes Room at City Hall, 600 4th Ave, $20+.
