Want to discuss and learn more about the conflict in Syria? Hear from some of the experts at World Affairs Council and Mercy Corps' panel discussion this Wednesday.

The panel includes: Resat Kasaba, Director at UW's Jackson School of International Studies; Cassandra Nelson, Mercy Corps Director of Syria Response and Communications; and Cengiz Çandar, an influential Turkish journalist who writes for Al-Monitor's Turkey Pulse and Radikal in Istanbul.

One Stop Ballot Shop

Hear from all the candidates on November's ballot at CityClub's mayoral debate/candidate forum (submit your mayoral questions for the debate here). Q13's C.R. Douglas and the Seattle Times and Geek Wire writer Mónica Guzmán will moderate the event.

Transportation Feedback

State Senators Curtis King (R-Yakima) and Tracey Eide (D-Federal Way) of the Senate Transportation Committee are making their rounds in Washington to hear out the people's transportation concerns.

Their next stop is in Seattle tonight for a three-hour forum.
