A Benefit for the Puget Sound Blood Center
This year’s San Gennaro Festival, which benefits a different charity each year, will celebrate the Italian saint’s “blood miracle” by holding a blood drive and donating all proceeds to the Puget Sound Blood Center.

A New Greenway
Ballard's new greenway, a project to improve road safety for pedestrians and bicyclists along NW 58th Street, is finally open to cyclists and walkers this Saturday after almost a year of development. After the ribbon-cutting by Mayor Mike McGinn, there will be a bike rodeo, walking tours, a sidewalk piano, free smoothies from a bicycle blender, and more.

An International Night Market
Take a bite of Asian culture at Seattle’s annual Night Market & Moon Festival, where Asian cuisine from 20 different food trucks will be coupled with Chinese dragons, B-Boys, and Japanese and Korean Pop music.

Celebrate Love With Mary Lambert
Local artist Mary Lambert, who loaned her singing voice to the popular Macklemore track “Same Love,” is holding a concert to benefit Q Youth Resources, an organization that provides community for LGBTQ youth.
Road-sharing Safety
Learn how bicyclists and trucks can share the road to avoid collisions like the one that took place in Seattle last May.
The morning info session will clue bikers in about truck blind spots and offer other safety tips with simulations and truck ride-alongs.
