Seattle AIDS Walk
The AIDS Walk is back in Seattle for its 27th year this Saturday. Join friends and loved ones to walk for people affected by HIV/AIDS and raise money for prevention and treatment.
The walk will start in Volunteer Park and loop around Capitol Hill.

Coffee with the Sallys
Get any civic questions or concerns off your chest at Saturday's coffee chat with Seattle City Council member Sally Bagshaw and Seattle City Council President Sally Clark.
This week's confab will take place in High Point, a West Seattle neighborhood that has undergone revitalization projects to serve an increasingly diverse community.

GMO Documentary
The new documentary GMO OMG—directed, written, and edited by environmental activist Jeremy Seifert—tells the story of the GMO industry and its negative consequences. This film, particularly relevant for Washingtonians preparing on I-522 (which would require labeling some genetically modified foods), opens on Friday with a special Q&A session with Pamm Larry, the creator of California's unsuccessful GMO labeling initiative Prop 37.

Arts on the Hill
To encourage the continual growth of Capitol Hill's art scene, dubbed one of the finest in the nation, the Hill's Chamber of Commerce will host a networking event where artists and residents can come together to discuss the neighborhood's future collaboration of arts and economic development.
