Mayor McGinn Answers Your Questions

You ask the questions, Mayor Mike McGinn answers on the monthly Seattle Channel show "Ask the Mayor." Email, call in, and tune in to Seattle Channel 21 this Wednesday to get your own burning questions anwered on-air before the August 6 primary election.

The Platform Performs at The Neptune Theatre

The Platform, a program founded in 2009 to encourage and showcase the artistic expression of homeless and at-risk youth, takes their talents to The Neptune for a series of short plays—part of The Neptune's Nights at the Neptune series, launched by Seattle Theatre Group.

The show is free and open to ages 13+, but make sure to RSVP before attending.

The Platform Playwright's Festival, Tues, July 23, 7:30pm, The Neptune Theatre, 1303 NE 45th St, free.

Preview Classes at UW

Want a better feel for the Arts and Writing programs at the University of Washington before attending? UW is offering several free preview classes for programs including Literary Fiction, Screenwriting, Photography, and Audio Production.

Each class is two hours long and space is limited—RSVP to reserve a spot.

Free Fall Preview Classes, Monday, July 22, 6-8pm or 6:15-8:15pm, University of Washington, free.
