Where's the Funding?
After the state Legislature failed to pass legislation for transportation funding, King County Metro is facing a 17 percent cut to service over the coming year. In response, the Transit Riders Union is organizing a demonstration for this Saturday to ask Olympia: Where's the Funding? Or to put it more succinctly: WTF?
Guest speakers will include a variety of local representatives, including Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn and Seattle state Rep. Gael Tarleton (D-36).
WTF, Olympia? Rally, Sat, July 27, 12 pm, City Hall Park, 450 3rd Avenue (south side of King County Courthouse), free.

This discussion is a precursor to Dr. Minich's Food & Chakras series, beginning this fall. Register online to sign up for this Friday's session.
