This solid spot next to the Chinese supermarket Ranch 99 is an overlit sprawler beloved of Chinese expats—and everyone else. The menu offers Szechuan and Cantonese fish dishes, including terrific sea bass preparations, sizzling black bean to salt and pepper, loaded with garlic. The lobster is the big deal here, but we think the honey walnut prawns—that scourge of many a lesser joint—transcend their mayonnaise-bomb reputation into the realm of crispy, juicy, and expertly balanced. Weekends, dim sum packs the house. Despite the spotty service the place is popular with big groups.
