I don't like to go outside on nights this cold, even for a trip to the movies.  Fortunately, and as I like to remind you Cola readers every once in awhile, Wednesday is 2 for 1 day at both Scarecrow and On 15th Video.  Take a late lunch while the sun's still out, browse the shelves, and, if you're needing some seasonal ideas, check GreenCine's list of holiday movies that don't suck.

I don't know if I agree with GreenCine entirely (Elf?  Really guys?  Suck.) But there are some gems on there:  A Christmas Story, Muppet Christmas Carol , Scrooged, the original Miracle on 34th Street, etc.

Stay home, mull some wine, egg some nog, and get your Xmas on in fine 2-for-1 style.
