Another Olympia beat reporter is leaving. The Spokesman Review's Rich Roesler announced today that he's leaving his reporting job to take a gig in the p.r. shop at the insurance commissioner's office.

I've raised toasts and mourned before as reporters have packed it up over the last year, but this time I'm honestly a bit misty eyed. I didn't know Roesler beyond quick conversations in hearing rooms or when we'd occasionally compliment each other's work, but on that later point, I absolutely meant it.
