1.
Local filmmaker Lynn Shelton's movie Humpday —about two straight guys who set out to make a guy-on-guy porno (starring themselves) for the Stranger's annual amateur porn fest—drew the crowds at the Harvard Exit this weekend. Congrats on a big debut weekend Lynn Shelton.

During the Q&A at Saturday night's show, Shelton announced her next project: Her own submission to this year's porn fest.

2. Last week, King County Executive candidates Dow Constantine, Fred Jarrett, and Larry Phillips  released proposals to shore up the County budget. Today, the fourth Democrat in the race, Ross Hunter, is a holding a press conference to announce his plan.

3. Tonight at 6, at the Spitfire in Belltown, PubliCola's own Erica C. Barnett is moderating a debate between the mayoral candidates. See you there.

4. And Wednesday night at 5, the Housing Levy campaign (a $145 million-over-7-years property tax to build and preserve affordable housing) is holding its kick off event at the Swedish Cultural Center on Dexter Avenue.

For the owner of a $450,000 home, the 17 cent tax per $1,000 of assessed value would cost about $79 a year. The expiring levy cost the average home owner about $49 a year.
