Guess Who's Reading PubliCola, Pt. 6

That's right, Rep. Norm Dick's (D-6, WA), Washington state's powerful member of the appropriations committee (and chairman of the subcommittee on interior and environment), who just joined Twitter last week. PubliCola was one of the first 10 sites Rep. Dicks started following.
This, despite the fact that we kind of dissed him during our first week of posts last January—ranking the vet lawmaker just the 5th most powerful out of our 11-member delegation.
Rep. Dicks is the latest bigwig to join the list of bigwigs keeping tabs on PubliCola.
If you want the people in the cubicles of power to know about you, you should advertise on PubliCola.
Not only will you make a splash with the insiders who are addicted to our site, but by advertising with PubliCola—the first online news publication in state history to get full-fledged press credentials in Olympia—you’ll also be supporting our effort to pick up the slack as the traditional print media drastically scales back political coverage.
Contact our new advertising rep, Cynara Lilly, to get the details on advertising with PubliCola. Her name (and email contact) will be up on our staff box shortly.
