DCCC Continues Assault on Reichert

By Chris Kissel April 8, 2009

The DCCC sent out another Reichert press release today, this time nailing the Congressman on his no vote on the House budget resolution. Specifically, the DCCC wanted to draw attention to a provision in the budget that recommended an 11.5 percent increase in health care programs for veterans.

As if just saying no to everything from creating millions of new jobs to providing the largest middle class tax cut in history weren’t bad enough in this economy, Representative Dave Reichert has now targeted America’s veterans with his ‘just say no’ ways.

By opposing the FY 2010 budget, Representative Reichert has now said no to increasing funding for veterans’ health care and other benefits by more than 11 percent.

Rep. Reichert's office couldn't be reached for comment this morning.
