Pho Cyclo, the SoDo venture from the folks who brought us 12th and Jackson’s wonderful Huong Binh, attracts trillions with its fragrant noodle bowls topped with glistening charbroiled meats, its stir-fries, its cheap-cheap banh mi, and its 12 varieties of pho, all served within a lofty room enlivened by lovely trompe-l’oeil streetscapes and greenscapes of Vietnam. A takeout counter in back bustles. It’s loved by cognoscenti but particularly accessible even to Vietnamese-food neophytes.
