A restaurant graveyard space in the heart of Madrona has finally found its house-packing occupant: A very pretty little Thai joint called Naam. It’s a careful operation, if s-l-o-w, with a full complement of Thai warhorses done tastily and affordably. (We particularly appreciate the brown rice and the non-ketchup variant of phad Thai, Country Style, made just as sweetly but more intriguingly with tamarind.) As good for date night as for families, with sparkly cocktails and a few tables you recline around.
