Super Natural, Part II

This month’s Spree page invites you to bring the outside in with some really gorgeous home decor and accessory pieces that feature natural elements.
A piece of local designer Regina Chang’s gorgeously modern and wholly organic-feeling agate- and chalcedony-studded, lariat-engineered, hammered-gold jewelry would be right, um … at home in a home like the one imagined on that page.
Lucky for you, Hitchcock in Madrona is hosting a trunk show for the Seattle stone sculptress/accessories inventor on March 26 from 5:30 to 7:30. I happened to stop by the shop yesterday, so I snapped a couple images to tempt you.

A word about the paint-by-numbers piece and the stampede of horses in the background of the first image: If there is a more imaginative and less shop-feeling shop in Seattle, I have yet to meet it. Hitchcock might feel like the Kennedy’s private post-tennis match tea room on one visit, and then like the VIP lounge at a backwoods BBQ joint the next. And somehow the jewelry and accessories always feel … right at home.
