Expect great vintage finds on Saturdays at the Georgetown flea market; here, the neighborhood spot Fruit Cocktail displays its goods

Fremont: You’ve got competition.

Georgetown’s getting a farmers market, and with it, a flea market. Both kick off on Saturday, June 5 at 10. Together, the side-by-side open-air shopping zones will feature more than 100 local vendors.

From the farmers, expect the usual Northwest riches: Fruits, berries, vegetables, natural meats, local wild fish, artisan cheeses, poultry, eggs, flowers, and artisan sauces, jams, seasonings, candies, fresh breads, pastries and more.

From the neighborhood junk hunters: True treasures. Custom-made decor and lifestyle pieces, rescued collectibles, world imports, crafts, and vintage and retro goods of every stripe.

The Georgetown market runs each Saturday rain or shine from 10 to 4 (the farmers pack up and head out at 3) through October 16. You’ll find it at 6000 Airport Way South.
