Stopsky’s, the new deli on Mercer Island cheffed by Robin Leventhal of Top Chef fame, is currently closed.

The reason? “We had a little espresso machine melt down,” reports Leventhal. The electrical fire took place over the weekend, prompting rapture jokes.

Leventhal says Stopsky’s is “working things out” and plans to re-open this Friday, May 27.
