My colleague Chris Werner tried to lay low about his recent star turn on the Cooking Channel, but the new Seattle channel of Eater.com outed him yesterday.

And low and behold, he’s a total natural. It’s like he was born with a big old camera in his face.

You should absolutely watch the segment on Eater, but I must warn you: prepare for an intense craving for a shrimp po boy to follow.

Also in this footage is Rue Seattle rep and food writer Lorna Yee who, as Eater’s Allecia Vermillion points out, "somehow manages to look graceful while eating gumbo on camera."
