Spunky Tacoma rocker Vicci Martinez has a voice that belongs to someone twice her size. That tiny girl can belt. Plus, her mom sometimes helps with CD sales at the show, which is kind of adorable. The 25-year-old impressed us with a rollicking Out to Lunch set at Harbor Steps earlier this summer, so we’re going to catch her again at the University Village tomorrow night at 6, as part of the weekly Sounds of Summer concert series.

The show’s free, and doors open at 5:15 so you can warm up at the beer/wine garden, or take the kids to the play area to have their faces painted. Or your face painted. Whatever works.
