Chocolopolis celebrates its two-year anniversary with a week of tastings and treats

By Laura Cassidy July 6, 2010

Where: Chocolopolis

What and when: July 11-18: A week of free chocolate tasting events to celebrate two years of shopping for couture decadence.

For example: Kids are invited to dip a variety of treats into melted chocolate and enjoy the results between 1 and 3 on Monday July 12. And then, on July 13, it’s mom’s day. Mothers, come by at 1, 1:15, 1:30, or 1:45 for a complimentary guided tasting of three chocolates. You might want to spend Bastille Day, July 14, enjoying samples of rich, creamy chocolate from a variety of French makers. You’re even welcome to BYOB (bring your own baguette) if pain au chocolat sounds good.

For a full list of events, see Chocolopolis’s pdf of chocolate-covered good times.

Who: It’s worth mentioning that if you’re getting married sometime soon, or just planning ahead for the winter holidays, this would be a good shopportunity to test drive some rich, sweet gifts.
