If you’re in Ballard this weekend and looking for a bite, why not do as Nancy Leson suggests and make your way to Rizzo’s French Dip.

If you haven’t yet heard, last week the owner of the sandwich stand, one Kenny Johnson, heroically rescued three-year-old Anna Kotowicz from a blazing car wreck that would take the life of her father, Andy.

Rizzo’s is open Saturday 11am-8pm and Sunday 11am-7pm, so stop in and show him a hero’s appreciation.
