You’ve got a full 21 days to find the perfect Little Blush Dress; this year’s Project Red Dress is on February 13 at the beautiful Fairmont Olympic Hotel.

Seattle’s Fashion Group International is the driving force behind this runway event; the most talented design students in the area compete to create the most glorious red dress while raising funds and awareness for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative. In other words: It’s like a local Project Runway—right down to the fact that everyone’s favorite faux-hawker, PR alum Nick Verreos is flying in to help judge the designs. Tickets are on sale at the Project Red Dress site through Brown Paper Tickets.

And please know this: Last year’s party sold out.

But back to what you’re going to wear… Below are some images from the spring/summer 09 shows to inspire you … Go coral, (like the Lanvin frock at the top of this post) cardinal (as in the retro, long-sleeved Halston number below), ruby (or, ruby-ish, as in the Naeem Khan mini under that), rust (oh that Galliano…), or wine (the layered look by J. Mendel), just don’t, you know, show up in electric blue or something.
