(Still) On Sale: Tickets to See The National

Brooklyn indie rockers help close out Marymoor Park’s concert season.

Email

I was trawling the interweb this afternoon looking for tickets to Ray LaMontagne’s Sunday show (sold out, ugh) and noticed that there are still general admission tickets available for the National’s concert on Saturday at Marymoor Park. Are the National a little too sullen to be playing a 9/11 concert? Mmmmaybe. On their latest album, 2010’s High Violet, the Ohio-born, Brooklyn-based indie rockers stick to bemoaning everyday struggles like parenthood and finances. But it’s one of the last outdoor concerts this summer, and Okkervil River opens, so game on. Tickets are $43 at ticketmaster.com.
