On October 15 Seattle’s culinary king Tom Douglas prepared several of his signature dishes to celebrate the Macy’s and Food Lifeline campaign “Come Together,” which aims to combat domestic hunger. The initiative encourages customers who are hosting dinners to ask their guests to donate to Feeding America instead of bringing a traditional hostess gift. Macy’s will match customer donations dollar for dollar until they reach a total of 10 million meals.
