As If This Week Weren’t Grim Enough

The owners of Fremont’s Red Door—a craft beer bar since 1988, when most of the nation was still enamored with Bud Light—announced the bar will close. Owners Pete and Emily Hanning took to Facebook to tell fans, “We take our stewardship of this historic building and business seriously, but we just aren’t able to make it work financially.” The Red Door pulls its final pint on March 8.

Meanwhile, on Seattle Met…

In a town full of breweries, Fair Isle is legitimately a big damn deal.

Volunteer Park Cafe eyes its final days.
